Can you help South London deliver its potential?
The South London Partnership is recruiting two Policy and Programmes Manager to deliver its growth programme.
You will have experience of working partnership across organisations and a track record of developing and delivering policies and programmes that made a real difference, preferably in at least one growth-related agenda like economic development, housing, planning, transport, skills, business or employment support. But you’ll also be able to pick up new agendas and work across boroughs and with other partners to shape up and secure delivery of practical actions.
You will be able to work with senior politicians and officers in local government and beyond, impressing them with your clarity of thinking, innovatoin and delivery-focus. Your reputation will be as someone who takes ownership and initiative, is a problem-solver and can turn complex ideas into deliverable outcomes. Well-honed skills in communication, influencing, partnership building, programme managaement and policy analysis, creation and delivery will be key to your success.
You’ll relish the idea of working in a fast-moving environment with regular exposure to senior politicians and officers as part of a small, flexible team that operates like a start-up, turning its hand to whatever is needed to get the job done and punching well above its weight.
